Very much reminiscent of goth bands, with that chorus pedal, mysterious chord progression and medieval arpeggios. And not the dark stereotypical goth- the whimsical dreamy sort of goth a la Siouxsie and the Banshees or Strawberry Switchblade. It's such a treat to listen to. People say this song would've been better suited to another group (*cough* Red Velvet *cough*) and that may be true but it doesn't stop the song from being fucking great. The vocal delivery is also beautiful in my opinion.
