And of course, we enjoyed lovely cocktails and small bites! I felt the cocktails were nothing fancy, but still very good. Jameson had the Siren's Whisper (White Rum Blend, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, Combier Crème de Pêche de Vigne Liqueur, Lime, and Cinnamon), and I had the Port of Call (Gin, Port, Lemon Juice, Cranberry Juice.) His looked like a non-frozen Blue Hawaii. Here's mine:

And we shared the Kraken's Catch: Octopus Tentacles marinated in Lemon and Lime Juice with Olives, Bell Peppers, Avocado, and Piquillo Pepper-Almond Foam. It was very good, the octopus had been tenderized and was absolutely lovely. This bar was a lot of fun, and we agreed we'd both like to come back!

At that point Jameson had to call it quits because he had to work early tomorrow, but we wanted to ride "Jingle Cruise," the holiday-themed Jungle Cruise. The wait was 35 minutes but we were prepared for that, and we started to go down the queue but realized we'd accidentally gone into the Lightning Lane (the divider wasn't up between them at the entrance.) We backtracked a bit, but the cast member standing at the entrance said, "Nono, go on! I saw nothing!" and shooed us back down the lightning lane! We didn't pause to ask questions! Within 5 minutes we were on a boat!! Now THAT'S Disney magic!!

I've rarely-if-ever ridden Jungle Cruise at night. It was lovely! The scenes really pop in the dark, and some things are a lot creepier and that makes it more fun too :) Lots of the animals were holding presents or stockings, and there were Christmas lights strung here and there, and our tour guide had a festive script to accentuate the usual Jungle Cruise snark and bad jokes. It was so much fun! It was too dark to get good clips but I did at least catch the monkeys (gorillas?) donning festivewear...
