It might be pretty amusing to watch the section right near the beginning where I'm picking my classes. The class names are silly, but it's even funnier to see all of the garbage graphical data that gets pulled for the various nonsense classes.
Nice sprite on Sabre.

Immediately after picking classes, I was surprised by some of the other corrupted-looking crap, like the MissingNo-styled overworld sprite. I was also surprised by my stats, which immediately proved that Google Sheet linked above to be incorrect.

Cap is nice and strong!
Captain America - or Cap - is nice and strong. He has 55 HP and very high damage and hit rate.

Iron Man is awful.
Iron Man - or Iron Armor - is, uh, not strong. He has a 0 in all stats, including HP.

Thor is pretty amazing.
Thor is the strongest. He starts with nice high HP and the highest stats in most regards.

Luke, named after the Power Staff, is awful.
Luke Cage AKA Power Man (based on the Power Staff) is a lot like Iron Man, including having 0 HP.

Equipment is an interesting thing. I certainly don't have the fold-out map and equipment guide with this team, nor a Nintendo Power guide, so I had to buy one of everything and then find out what they could use. It turned out that Captain America, Thor and Luke had a few basic equipment options, but Iron Man could use nothing.

Our first battle was interesting. We got to see the graphics for our party members which were, of course, beautiful. We also got to see the behaviour of party members with 0 HP.
Iron Man is killed by someone missing him.

Yes, Luke died, and then Iron Man was killed by an Imp missing him. When I returned to town to revive them, they were set to 1 out of 0 HP. Interesting.

Iron and Luke both survived the second battle, earning level 2. Iron gained a bit of HP, going up to 25. Luke gained... 1 HP. Is this even a thing? Huh.

We used the generous, Game Genie-provided money from the first couple of battles to try and get the party some magic. The compatibility of the team with spells was... well, it was as random as everything else. I had to just try putting random spells on random characters until we were full. Level 1 spells aren't very exciting, though.
