This was an attempt to get the right sort of strat noises using power amp distortion out of the Helix. (And actually may be almost two years ago from the timestamp.) And for some reason or other then I could monitor what I was putting down and now I can't. I shall have to do some systems analysis. And what I want to do is shred until my fingers bleed. Such is.

The thing is, I can play an awful lot better than any of this (by a significant factor) if I'm not having to stop and start recording and swap headspace between engineering and playing. I have yet to master Ed Sheeran's unbelievable multitasking abilities. But when you see that boy do his thing with a guitar, a looper, and some odd instruments left lying around, you know what talent actually is.
